Junction list
[edit]It looks like the junction list may be in the opposite direction of its source. Does it need to be switched? Pzoxicuvybtnrm 02:03, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
- The standard is west to east or south to north for the RD and the junction lists. This section shouldn't be named "Exit list" unless it is grade-separated with exits. Otherwise, it should be named "Major intersections". Imzadi1979 (talk) 05:05, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
- First, the source where the list is from states the mileposts in the opposite order. Also, I don't know if the road is grade-separated with exits. In California, most state routes are expressways, but it doesn't seem so in Colorado. Pzoxicuvybtnrm 03:10, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
- If you don't know if it's grade-separated or not, stick with Major intersections, or consult Google Maps' satellite view to verify. Imzadi1979 (talk) 03:14, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

Expressway vs Freeway?
[edit]Could we please clarify the nomenclature of what an expressway is? This article indicates that Powers/SH21 is an expressway but not a freeway. Aren't these two terms both synonyms for a controlled/limited access roadway, depending on where in North America one is from? Having lived in Chicago, Michigan and the East Coast prior to moving to Colorado, I understand an "expressway" to be an East Coast/Midwest term for a controlled access roadway that does not have traffic lights and bans non-motorized traffic. So too, do a majority of US citizens. In California, people use the term "freeway" to mean what most of the rest of the country calls an "expressway". Powers/SH 21 is by no means a freeway nor an expressway, at least, according to how most US-based readers would understand the term. It is a busy, divided highway with relatively high speeds of travel and frequent traffic lights. Calling it an "expressway" but not a "freeway" is confusing to an overwhelming share of US-based readers, especially us transplants from the Midwest and East Coast and visitors from these regions, along with much of Canada. 73.203.112.216 (talk) 05:32, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
